Guest Vendor Profile: Bee and Mason

Today we are profiling Francisca of
Bee and Mason.

Here is our Q and A to get to know Francisca:

1. How did you select your name?

I picked the name because I have always been fascinated by honey bees, but also, honey bees gather pollen to make honey. Kind of like finding junk and turning it into a treasure. Mason is a play on the French word Maison meaning home, but also the Mason jar which symbolizes home cooking and older days.

2. Do you have a blog/FB?

I do. My FB page is Bee and Mason and my blog is http://www.beeandmason.blogspot.com

3. What is the best part of doing a show?

Hands down meeting people! You meet amazing women and men doing the same thing you love to do but also the wonderful customers who always have a story. I love it.

4. Do you specialize in any one era or type of item?

You can say my style is a bit eclectic. You never quite know what will be mixed up. I do have a thing for boxes and anything with an amazing patina, mainly metals and wood. You will always find them in my space.

5. Have you done other shows?

I have done the Junk Salvation show and just organized a small show of my own with a couple of vendors, called Carriage House Vintage Market, to celebrate my first birthday. And, or course, I am a proud guest of AVG!!!!!!! I will be doing Plucky Maidens in November and the Junk Salvation in February.

6. What will you have for Sept?

Oh Boy, this is a tough one. Well, you know I will have plenty of boxes, but you might find some random body parts, much black, a bit of primitive and a hint of Autumn to come.

Thank you Francisca. We look forward to seeing you again.
